XLR8R’s 50 Best MP3s of 2008

In addition to being one of the best magazines covering electronic music culture, San Francisco-based XLR8R is an important player in the online world. Along with an eclectic weekly podcast, XLR8R TV and a large library of streaming videos, the magazine has also been uploading free MP3s to its site for the last couple of years. Based on what people were downloading, XLR8R has compiled the 50 Best MP3s from 2008. Don’t let the fact that a Lil Wayne remix took home first place scare you away. Some of the other artists you can download include Top Billing (who opened for M.I.A. at the Burt), M83 and The Streets.
