Red Bull 3Style
After knocking off defending champ Dow Jones, DJ Fin-S was in Toronto recently to take part in the national finals for Red Bull’s 3Style competition. Although this isn’t the first year for the competition, it is the first time that each of the regional winners were brought together to crown a national champion. While Fin-S didn’t come home with the title, he still has a shot at the People’s Choice Award. All eight mixes from the finals in Toronto are now online. Along with voting for your favourite performance, you can also stream the winning regional DJ sets on demand.

1000 Awesome Things
If you need a break from the blogs you normally read, 1000 Awesome Things is worth checking out. Touching on everything from ‘gym pain’ to that feeling you get when the dentist tells you that you don’t have any cavities, 1000 Awesome Things might be your favourite new blog. “I felt like I made it. I felt like I did something. There was a tingling buzz of satisfaction burning in my shredded calves, a lingering ache of pride in the dirt bike tracks riding up my stomach for three days, and a quiet happiness with the gym pain I’d inflicted upon myself. When you reach up higher than you’ve reached before, give a little more than you gave before, or dig deep to your core to end up sprained and sore, well around here we say that’s a little something called awesome!”
